Course Overview
My Professional Journey in Childcare For more than forty years, my career has been rooted in a deep commitment to children, families, and the development of high‑quality childcare practice. What began as a teenage decision to pursue the respected NNEB qualification has grown into a lifelong vocation that has taken me through hands‑on nannying, nursery management, agency ownership, professional training, and teaching the next generation of childcare practitioners. Every stage of this journey has shaped the educator and mentor I am today, and has strengthened my belief that childcare is one of the most meaningful professions a person can choose. After starting my own family, I took on a new challenge and founded a nanny agency — a business I successfully ran for more than twenty‑five years. This chapter of my career allowed me to combine my hands‑on experience with my leadership skills, supporting hundreds of nannies and families over the years. During this time, I recognised a growing need for structured, high‑quality training for nannies. Many childcare professionals were eager to develop their skills but lacked accessible, relevant training options. This inspired me to create my own training programme, designed specifically to support nannies in meeting the 6 Common Core Skills required by Ofsted. This course became the first nanny training programme to be endorsed by CACHE — a milestone that remains one of the proudest achievements of my career. The endorsement validated the quality, depth, and professionalism of the training, and it reinforced my commitment to raising standards within the nanny sector. Most recently, I gained Level 3 Assessor qualification, further strengthening my ability to support learners through structured assessment, guidance, and feedback. This programme is the culmination of a lifetime of learning, experience, and dedication. I am proud to share it with you, and I look forward to supporting you. Training course(C) copyright MMC
