How To Set Up An Online Account

To sign up for your project action account, follow the instructions in this tutorial. Should you require any further assistance, email our Founder and Director, Margaret Cowell by clicking here.

How To Update Or View Details On Your Account

1. Make sure you are signed into your PROJECT ACTION online account. If you are not yet signed in, you can do so using the 'Sign Into Your Account' link at the top right of any PROJECT ACTION page. You will know if you are signed in if this link reads 'Welcome, *Your Name*'.

2. Once you are signed in, click the arrow next to your name in the top right hand corner of any project action page. Using the drop down list, select the first option, 'My Account'.

3. Once you have reached your account page, you will be able to update your account information including your name, email address, telephone number and postal address. 

Note: You don't have to provide all the information the page allows however we may ask for the provision of such details for purposes related to any PROJECT ACTION courses/coaching services you engage with.

How To Access Your Purchased Online Courses

1. Make sure you are signed into your PROJECT ACTION online account. If you are not yet signed in, you can do so using the 'Sign Into Your Account' link at the top right of any PROJECT ACTION page. You will know if you are signed in if this link reads 'Welcome, *Your Name*'.

METHOD 1

2. A) Once you are signed in, click the arrow next to your name in the top right hand corner of any project action page. Using the drop down list, you can select the type of course you have purchases. All courses are classified as either Business, Personal or Childcare. If you are unsure which classification your course belongs to, use the navigation bar at the top of every PROJECT ACTION page to hover over either Childcare, Business or Personal Training to see which courses belong to which class. Once you find your course, you will know which option to select from your account dropdown list.

2. B) Once you are signed in, click the arrow next to your name in the top right hand corner of any project action page. This will take you to your account homepage.

2. C) Use the menu on the left hand side to select the class of which your course belongs to. All courses are classified as either Business, Personal or Childcare. If you are unsure which classification your course belongs to, use the navigation bar at the top of every PROJECT ACTION page to hover over either Childcare, Business or Personal Training to see which courses belong to which class. Once you find your course, you will know which option to select from the menu on your account homepage.

3. Clicking a class will take you to the Class homepage. Here you will be able to select the course you which to take. Remember that each course is paid for and you may not have access to all courses but just the one you have paid to have access to.

Navigating Through Course Content

1. This section will offer advice on methods of moving through PROJECT ACTION course content. We will start on the course menu. See "How To Access Purchased Online Courses" to understand how to access this part of our online portal.

2. The course will always be ordered in a sequential manner. This is to allow you to easily move through the course. Each module is tagged to help you understand what it will offer to you, always beginning with the theory (Learn The Content), then practicing your new knowledge in a non-marked activity (Boost Your Skills) and finally applying your knowledge in a final exam (Test Your Knowledge).

3. To access a module, click the image, the module page (in the purple box at the bottom of the module image) or click the "View Module" link at the bottom of each module preview from the course menu.

4. Each course module will feature this navigation bar to help you understand what you must do in order to complete each module. Some modules will require you to watch a video presentation, others to complete an online or download an activity. Instructions for each module will be featured at the top of the page underneath the title. If you are unsure, use the button at the bottom right of each page to contact your course tutor.

5. Once you have completed a module, you have two options of how to proceed. You can either go back to the course menu or proceed to the next module. To return to the course menu, find the module navigation bar at the top of all module pages and click the "Back To Menu" button on the left hand side. Otherwise, if you'd like to proceed to the next module, click the "Next Module" button on the right hand side or use the button at the bottom of the page in the "Let's Recap" section.

Sitting Online Assessments

1. Make sure you are signed into your PROJECT ACTION online account. If you are not yet signed in, you can do so using the 'Sign Into Your Account' link at the top right of any PROJECT ACTION page. You will know if you are signed in if this link reads 'Welcome, *Your Name*'.

2. Navigate to a course which you have already purchased and select the module which requires you to take a test. You will know if you are in the correct place if you can see the icons (shown on the right) in the module introduction and if you can also see the "Take Test" button in the module navigation bar. Click the "Take Test" button to go to the pre-test area.

3. In order for us to efficiently accurately track your progress and performance throughout the test, a secure and unique link must be produced. To receive your unique test link, enter your email address into the email field on the pre-test page or sign in with Google.

 

NOTE: It is essential that you use the same email address you used to sign up for your Project Action online account. To see your account information, click here.

4. If you successfully enter your email address or log in using Google, you will see the message shown in the image on the right. Now check your emails.

5. Your secure email link will be sent to you from our online examination partner Quilgo from the email address 'noreply@quilgo.com'. The subject of the email will include the title of the course you are taking, and/or the specific module title, for example: "Mental Health At Work Online Assessment". Depending on your inbox settings, you should receive your unique link almost instantly or within 5 minutes.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you do not receive your unique online assessment link within 30 minutes, check your spam and/or your junk folder. If you're email still does not arrive after this, click here to email our founder​, Margaret Cowell, for support. Be sure to describe your issue in your email.

6. Once you locate your unique link, click the "Open Your Link" button. This will take you to the assessment area where the amount of time you have to complete the online assessment will be displayed. Your time will start once you click the "Open The Form" button at the bottom of the testing area. After clicking the button, the assessment will begin and the time cannot be paused.

7. The time you have remaining to complete the test will be displayed at the top centre of your screen. Once this time elapses, your assessment will automatically close and none of your answers will be submitted for marking, resulting in an immediate fail.

8. Once you get to the end of the test, make sure to press the "Send" or "Submit" button to ensure your answers are recorded and submitted for marking. You can be sure that your answers have been submitted if you see the message shown on the right.

How To Dispute An Online Assessment Mark

All PROJECT ACTION online assessments are marked carefully by your course tutor or by a qualified PROJECT ACTION representative. Before you start the process of disputing your assessment mark, we recommend that you consult your PROJECT ACTION course tutor to ensure you fully understand any potential growth points which could be identified within your current course progress. Your course tutor is mentioned at the bottom of each module on your online course. Click here to go to your account home.

If you are sure you would like to dispute your online assessment mark, email our Founder and Director, Margaret Cowell by clicking here. Your email should include the following:

  • Your first name and surname

  • Your email address registered to PROJECT ACTION 

  • The course of which you're referring to

  • Your awarded mark

  • Your justification for disputing your awarded mark

  • Any evidence which may support your claim
