How to make your own playdough
You will need:
2 cups plain flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ cup salt,
1.5 cups water (adding a little at a time)
food colouring (optional – this really can get messy!).
Rolling pins and if possible, cutters.
What to do:
Mix the flour, salt and oil in a large bowl. If you’re using food colouring, add it to the water then pour into the flour mixture.
Place all the mixture in a pan and cook…
Stir until it forms a sticky dough.
Allow it to cool down then take out of the pan and knead it for a couple of minutes until all the stickiness has gone.
If it’s still sticky add a little more flour until just right.
Then play … if you want to make items to keep just cook in the oven at 200 degrees for about 1 hour but please check regularly and your play dough will harden and can be painted or decorated

Play dough will keep in a fridge in a sealed container for several days
