Bonfire Night is a magical experience for children, but safety should always come first.

Children often understand far more than we give them credit for, so it's important to talk to them beforehand about staying close to a trusted adult at all times.

Busy crowds can be distracting, and it only takes a moment for a child to wander. One simple tip is to use a wristband with your contact number written on it, giving extra peace of mind should you become separated.

While many children are fascinated by the bright colours and spectacular displays, the loud bangs and unexpected noises can be overwhelming or frightening. Ear defenders are well worth investing in and can make the experience much more enjoyable for sensitive little ears.

As temperatures can drop quickly after dark, remember to bring extra layers, warm clothing and drinks to keep everyone comfortable throughout the evening.

Most importantly, embrace the fun together. Share the excitement, talk about the colours and sounds, cheer along with the display, and create memories that children will treasure for years to come.

Keep little ones close, warm, comfortable and safe, so everyone can enjoy the magic of Bonfire Night.

The bright colours and excitement can be wonderful for children to experience. By planning ahead and keeping little ones close, families can enjoy a safe and memorable evening together.

Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the fireworks!
